Women in marble

Next 6 October, during the Marmomacc Show in Verona, will see the creation of the national association “Women in marble”.

The purpose of the association is to spread, extend and promote awareness of quality Italian marble through contacts between people, authorities and associations - as well as through cultural events, conventions and debates focusing on the results of professional and associative experience, with particular reference to the female world.

The association aims to represent a particular aspect of the natural stone industry characterised by typically female sensitivity and communication, as well as to satisfy the needs of female consumers - by now increasingly well-informed and attentive to innovation.

As in other fields, women in the natural stone industry have understood the importance of promoting the real role of their experience and professionalism in a world that is no longer today an exclusively “male” sector.
