INTERSTONE PRESS is the International Free association of the technical press of the marble sector. The members of the association are the periodicals which deal esclusively with subjects relative to the production and processing sector of marble, stone and granite.

The member magazines must be at least quarterly, feature at least 30% (thirty per cent) editorial space (with or without pictures) and be independent of:

• fair organisations;
• individual manufacturing (quarrying and processing) and trading companies and/or suppliers in the marble, stone and granite industry;
• associations and consortia between the above companies.
  

The aims of the association are:

1. to unite the associates;
2. to develop a common program to collect and exchange information on International bases;
3. to represent the associated specialized press at authorities, associations, organizations, fairs, shows and exhibition, of the marble stone and granite sector, in the various countries;
4. to protect the dignity and the independance of the specialized press;
5. to study the qualified ways to facilitate the activity of the associates;
6. to promote the professional and personal relations among the associates;
7. to be available for all the competent specialized organizations.
